Neil Rotta

Secretary-General

Neil has been involved in Model United Nations for 7 years, and has served in a variety of capacities at both the high school and collegiate levels. The majority of his experience comes from his involvement with Model United Nations at the University of Washington, where he is the current Advisor and has previously served in multiple other leadership positions, including President in 2010-2011. Neil served on the NWMUN Secretariat in 2011 as Chief of Staff and he has previously served as a Director, Chair or delegate at over 25 collegiate-level conferences. Neil recently graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Political Economy and a B.A. in Latin American Studies, with a Minor in History

Sasha Sleiman

Director-General AND Assistant Secretary-General for Logistics

Sasha Sleiman has been involved with Model United Nations since 2006.  She has been involved with NWMUN as a delegate in 2007 and previously served as ASG-CS in 2008.  Sasha also has experience staffing several other conferences, most recently as Director of UNICEF at National Model United Nations in New York City. Sasha graduated in 2009 from Western Washington University, where she served as Advisor of their Model United Nations program. She is pursuing a MA in Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding, with a focus on women, at the Monterey Institute of International Studies in California.

Galen Stocking

Chief of Staff

Galen has been a part of the NWMUN staff since 2008, serving most recently as Director of Simulations at NWMUN 2011 after three years as a Director. Before working with NWMUN, Galen spent several years on staff at NMUN-New York, where he was Director-General in 2008.  He is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara, where he is also the advisor to the school's MUN club. Galen's academic interests center on the intersection between media, politics, and civic participation. He also conducts research on comparative industrial policy with a focus on nanotechnology as a Graduate Fellow at UCSB's Center for Nanotechnology and Society.

William Campbell

Assistant Secretary-General for Conference Services

Bill has been involved in Model United Nations for one year, after a 10-year career in Speech and Debate that included the privilege of participating in and/or staffing over 60 collegiate conferences.  NWMUN was his first Model UN conference and he credits that weekend with inspiring him to continue engagement in the MUN world. Bill’s interests and academic research focuses on philosophical inquiries into economics and international relations with special emphasis on US-China relations. Bill has completed a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Western Washington University where he is finishing a B.S./M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Philosophy.
